KOCH Media is on the FRONTLINE at retail
BASINGSTOKE, England (May 2nd, 2003) – European software publisher, KOCH Media is excited to announce the launch of The Bitmap Brothers eagerly anticipated PC-CD ROM title – World War II: Frontline Command. Since the games signing in January 2003, KOCH Media and The Bitmap Brothers have worked steadily to bring real time strategy players an in depth, realistic and intuitive command experience, following the incursion of Allied forces across occupied Europe.
Reviews within specialist press will feature in all magazines across the month of May, following the already high praise during preview:
"Frontline Command is looking highly polished......"
Edge magazine
"The Bitmaps have always had a good balance between realism and enjoyment, and the 3D world of Frontline Command is no exception to that rule. Proper line of sight plus a hearing system are elements, which will, if all goes to plan, offer a gripping blend.”

PC Gamer
“Frontline Command throws around more neat touches than we tend to expect from the genre”
GAMES TM
“... It's like a mix of equal parts of Sudden Strike and Close Combat, shaken up with a dash of Commandos 2 and served with a garnish of C&C Generals' graphics engine.”
“Frontline Command stands head and shoulders over any other game in its class.”
Eurogamer
“Being labelled with the Bitmap Brothers name already made World War II: Frontline Command a game to look out for, and based on our early plays, that faith in the label might not be misplaced at all.”
Games Domain
“With its excellent level of detail and intuitive controls, WWII FC looks set to offer rewarding game play”
PC Extreme
The recently launched Frontline Command demo has seen extremely high downloads over the past few weeks, as players ready themselves to be immersed into the heart of the action, as machine gun bullets ricochet off stone walls and the thunderous explosions of mortar fire echo across the battlefield.
Kerri Davies, Commercial Director at KOCH Media expressed great confidence in the potential of World War II Frontline Command, “The Bitmap Brothers have certainly created a game worthy of being classed amongst their greatest titles. We foresee high commercial success.”
World War II Frontline Command is available in all high street games retailers and independent stores from the 2nd May 2003, priced at £34.99. Developed by The Bitmap Brothers and published by and distributed across Europe by KOCH Media.
