Deep Silver Signs The Whispered World and Screen

Daedalic Entertainment has announced that the fantasy point & click game The Whispered World will be published by Deep Silver in 18 European territories. In The Whispered World, the main character, Sadwick, is a young clown, travelling a fairy tale world with his family's circus. But he is in no laughing mood and on a disappointing search for meaning in his life. One night, a mysterious form speaks to him in a dream and sends him on perilous journey. Players direct Sadwick and his constant companion, a little worm named Spot, through the game world with hand-painted backgrounds filled with animated details and lovingly crafted characters in the style of classic animated films. The Whispered World will be available in German-speaking territories in May 2009 and in other territories (France, UK, Italy, Spain, Portugal and the Scandinavian countries) later this year - a new screenshot has been inserted in our gallery.
