U-Wars with hardware PhysX acceleration will be available on a PC near you
NVIDIA today announced that Biart Studio has adopted NVIDIA PhysX technology for Underwater Wars, a hi-tech shooter developed for PC and Xbox 360, and scheduled to hit the store shelves in Q4 2009. The action of the game takes place in 2012 and presents a conflict between two factions: the United States, Japan and the countries of NATO (Great Britain, Italy, France) vs the People's Republic of China, the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and indirectly Syria and Iran. You and your teammates are in the elite division of sea infantry of Naval Forces of the USA, and your purpose is to protect freedom and to provide peace and the law and order on all planet. Underwater Wars will feature 12 mission, squad based action with two viewmodes, secret underwater weapons, three types of gameplay (underwater bases, underwater operations, ground/islands/town missions), multiplayer modes, and more.
