Eidos has announced that the North American Collector's Edition of Batman: Arkham Asylum, co-published with Warner Bros., features a full array of iconic collector's items, including a 14" Batarang with stand, a behind-the-scenes DVD, a code for downloadable Challenge Map, and more (check full article for details. In Batman: Arkham Asylum, the player assumes the role of Batman as he delivers The Joker to Arkham Asylum. There, the imprisoned super-villains have set a trap and an immersive combat gaming experience unfolds. Developed by Rocksteady Studios, Batman: Arkham Asylum has an original script penned by Emmy Award-winning Batman writer Paul Dini. The game will hit the store shelves in summer 2009, for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.
