Microsoft has announced that Space Invaders Extreme has been released via Xbox LIVE Arcade and is available for 800 Microsoft Points worldwide, excluding India and Korea. Published by Taito Corporation and developed by Backbone Entertainment, Space Invaders Extreme is a remake of Space Invaders upgraded with electronic tracks, faster gameplay, and loads of new features. You can challenge up to three of your friends via Xbox LIVE in two different Versus Modes, or join together to take on the Invaders in Co-op Mode.
