Koei announced that the North American release of Dynasty Warriors 6 Empires for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 will be on June 23rd, 2009. For the first time ever in a Warriors game you'll get to play as either a ruler or an officer, so you can actually choose to give orders or to carry them out. Levels have also been designed to encourage exploration in order to discover numerous ways to gain an advantage over your enemies. You can now, climb and jump up previously inaccessible areas such as cliffs, so you can now take alternative routes towards your enemy and catch them by surprise with a sneak attack.
