For the first time in franchise history, music featured in a Guitar Hero game is being offered as a free digital download, prior to its public release
Activision has announced that Australian rockers Wolfmother are making Guitar Hero history with the free release of their "Back Round" single via GH5.GuitarHero.com. The song, which is to be featured in Guitar Hero 5, is set to be the first single off their upcoming album Cosmic Egg, due out in September. Guitar Hero 5 is scheduled for release on September 1, 2009.
