While speaking for the GameHorizons conference in Newcastle, UK,
Crackdown creator and original father of the
Grand Theft Auto franchise Dave Jones mentioned that his studio,
Real Time Worlds, has been working on a third title since the company's inception in 2002.
According to Jones,
Crackdown was developed simply to help raise money for this as yet unannounced title, as is
All Points Bulletin. No official announcement or details will be released until 2010, right around the same time
All Points Bulletin is slated to be released.
Gamasutra also reports that Dave Jones has been more interested in multiplayer in gaming than single player experiences. Considering the importance of multiplayer in the studio's current works, you can rest assured that whatever the studio is working on, multiplayer plays a huge role in it.
