Squad Leader Patch v1.01 - March 2nd, 2001: * Fixed crash involving artillery fire. * Fixed several memory leaks which were causing slowdowns and crashes after playing the game for a while. * Fixed several crashes to desktop during the game. * Fixed a bug that allowed players to throw items out of their character's inventories to take the character to negative AP. * Fixed a crash when a character drops a demo charge and another soldier tries to pick it up. * Added sound to the tiles that were missing footstep sounds. * Fixed bug in options screen where the player adjusts the music volume then exits without accepting the changes. The original volume is restored. * Characters make the appropriate walking sound when carrying a wounded soldier. * Fixed several impassible tiles on British Campaign 2. * Fixed a bug with the British Wolverine machine gun that caused the weapon to take excessive time to resolve its fire. * Modified the morale numbers to give morale a greater game impact. Increased negative morale effects for being suppressed, for being wounded and for loss of squad mates and leaders. * Increased the bonuses for successful leader rally attempt. * Added gun ricochet sound effects for missed shots. * Added a reload sound for when guns are reloaded. * Increased the volume of all weapons in the game. * Greatly improved the screen scrolling routine to smooth the scrolling and minimize the snap-back effect encountered when mouse scrolling the map. * Increased the chance to throw a grenade through a door or window has been at ranges of 3 hexes or less. This should alleviate some of the problems with soldiers blowing themselves up on missed grenade throws. * The artillery strike is now subject to addition delays beyond the players control. This was done to enhance the uncertainty of artillery. * The player is now allowed to engage in Hand-to-hand combat with incapacitated soldiers. * Fixed a bug with shot resolution that caused weapons to fail to penetrate obstacles and proceed to the target. This caused instances where a soldier had a 99% chance to hit, but would never be able to damage the target. * Fixed numerous line of sight issues.
