Disney Interactive Studios announced that it will publish a video game inspired by "Disney's A Christmas Carol", the Charles Dickens tale re-imagined by Robert Zemeckis as a major feature film starring Jim Carrey. In Disney's A Christmas Carol video game, players will guide Scrooge on his supernatural adventure, by blowing and shouting into the microphone and using the Nintendo DS stylus to pull, shake, drag, rattle and tap the different environments. In the game, players experience immersive animated cutscenes that unfold like an interactive story book with amazing beauty and detail. Players will also have access to actual chapters of the classic Dickens book and will interact with characters from the film, including Bob Cratchit, Tiny Tim, Mr. Fezziwig, Marley and the three spirits of Christmas. Disney's A Christmas Carol video game is scheduled for release in North America on November 3, 2009, exclusively for Nintendo DS. Seventeen screenshots have been inserted in our gallery.
