Avernum 6 Announced and Screens

Spiderweb Software today announced the development of Avernum 6, the final game in the epic Avernum series. You will travel into the strange subterranean land of Avernum, full of dungeons, labyrinths, and constant warfare. A final set of disasters threatens to destroy your homeland in a spasm of famine and warfare. Only you can help your people to get to safety before everything falls apart. Avernum 5 will be out for Macintosh in late 2009 and Windows in early 2010 - the first five screenshots found their way in our gallery.
