World of Battles Open Beta Begins and v0.9.4 Client/Trailer/Screens

Focus Home Interactive today announced the start of the open beta test of World of Battles, a free, massively multiplayer strategy game in the works at Frogwares and scheduled to be available online for free in March 2009. In the medieval universe of World of Battles, nine races fight a terrible war for world domination. You have to choose your side, recruit, train and equip units in order to create a powerful army able to face opposing armies created by other players. World of Battles is free and accessible to all and will be supported through additional services and micro-transactions which will allow players to buy customizations for troops and units. The latest game client, a trailer and three more screenshots have been added in our download area.
