Capcom today announced that the PC version of Resident Evil 5 will hit the store shelves on September 15, 2009 in North America and September 18th in Europe. Chris Redfield, protagonist of the original Resident Evil and Resident Evil: Code Veronica, returns. Chris is joined by new character Sheva Alomar, an African special agent tasked with investigating an epidemic in Africa. Resident Evil 5 is now available for Xbox 360 and PS3 - a benchmark tool is now locally mirrored.
