Hollywood actress Sigourney Weaver will voice the role of Dr. Grace Augustine for James Cameron's Avatar: The Game, Ubisoft announced. Other actors from the film that will appear in the game include Michelle Rodriguez, Giovanni Ribisi and Stephen Lang. Rodriguez's character, Trudy Chacon, functions as the player's chopper pilot throughout the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC versions of the game. Ribisi reprises his role as the arrogant Parker Selfridge, appearing exclusively in the Wii version of the game. The film's antagonist, Col. Quaritch, played and voiced by Lang, will appear in the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC versions. Scheduled for December 2009, James Cameron's Avatar: The Game is an action game which will take you deep into the heart of Pandora, an alien planet that is beyond imagination. Gamers will encounter the Na'vi, Pandora's indigenous people and discover creatures and other wildlife the likes of which have never been seen in the world of video games before. When conflict erupts between the RDA Corporation, a space-faring consortium in search of valuable resources, and the Na'vi, players will find themselves thrust into a fight for the heart of a planet and the fate of a civilization.
