IDV has announced that America's Army is using SpeedTree which delivers highly realistic trees and plants, with adjustable wind effects, user-configurable and seamless LOD transitions. SpeedTree includes a library of hundreds of tree, plant and marine models representing more than 200 core species. In related news, IDV unveiled the launch of SpeedTree Cinema, a new member of the SpeedTree line geared toward the movie and animation industry.
