Iceberg Interactive has announced that the retail version of Zeno Clash, a PC action-fantasy game powered by the Source engine and developed by ACE Team, has reached Gold status. The retail version will ship with the Zeno Clash comic plus all available updates for the game and will be released in the UK, Scandinavia and the Benelux in October 2009 with other European territories to follow soon after. Featuring up close and brutal combat in a first-person perspective, Zeno Clash is set in the punk fantasy world of Zenozoik, a land of exotic places and bizarre creatures. Players take on the role of Ghat, a man banished by his own brothers and forced to begin a desperate journey for survival through the forbidden desert and to the end of the world. The new melee combat system allows players to perform a variety of movements like deflect & elude combos, knockback finisher punches and punishing grab attacks.
