Ubisoft has announced that Splinter Cell Conviction, the next installment in the Splinter Cell series, will hit the store shelves in North America on February 23, 2009, for PC and Xbox 360. In Splinter Cell Conviction, an investigation into his daughter's death unwittingly leads former agent Sam Fisher to discover he's been betrayed by his prior agency, the Third Echelon. Now a renegade, Fisher finds himself in a race against time to thwart a deadly terrorist plot that threatens millions. Splinter Cell: Conviction is being developed by Ubisoft Montreal - a new trailer is now available.
