iGAMES SINKS TEETH INTO SURVIVAL HORROR iGAMES PUBLISHES NOSFERATU IN NORTH AMERICA HOBOKEN, NJ – July 29, 2003 – iGames Publishing, LLC announced today that they will make this Halloween scarier then ever by publishing PAN Vision’s Nosferatu: The Wrath of Malichi, in North America. The first person shooter-survival horror game will thrust players into a den of bloodthirsty vampires. Developed by the Swedish studio, Idol FX, the game will be released in time for Halloween on PC/CD-ROM. “Nosferatu is the perfect blend of terror and action and will appeal to fans of both genres,” said Rick Bosch, CEO of iGames Publishing. “Is there a better place for gamers to spend the night than in a castle full of vampires?” Delivering a blend of atmospheric survival horror and intense first person shooter action, Nosferatu: The Wrath of Malachi immerses players in the terror of an ancient, gothic castle full of vampires. With the monstrous undead lurking around every corner, players must search through the shadowy halls and dank dungeons of a massive castle to free their imprisoned friends and family...failure to rescue the prisoners will not only result in their death, but in the resurrection of an ancient supernatural being who will threaten all of mankind. Nosferatu will set players’ spines tingling with dread as vampires spring at them out of nowhere, while gameplay grows increasingly aggressive and violent. In every game, the random architecture generator will change the layout and location of the characters. Players can explore different parts of the castle in whichever pattern they choose. In this non-linear style gameplay, players will defeat vampire foes with classic weapons such as holy water, crucifixes, and wooden stakes or old fashioned flint-locks and muskets. Certain powerful vampires can only be slain with specific weapons – challenging the player’s weapon tactics with each encounter. Nosferatu is accompanied by a spine-chilling musical score and creepy sound effects, which are seamlessly orchestrated to keep players on the edge of their seat. Filled with eerie 3D graphics, real-time lighting, grainy screens, fog and mist, players will live the classic horror of Nosferatu. Gamers can visit the website (http://www.nosferatu-game.com/) for a peek into the underworld with screenshots and a chilling trailer.
