Namco Bandai Games has announced the launch of Tekken Talk, a new Twitter application in conjunction with the release of Tekken 6 which is set to hit shelves on 30th October for Xbox 360 and PS3. The application will see players competing in simulated Tekken 6 bouts by tweeting various key words based on actual moves from the game. There are ten Tekken 6 characters to choose from when participating and a fight will essentially consist of a dialogue between two Twitter users scoring points for their tweets. Points will be awarded depending on the strength of the move and opponents will have to opportunity to defend or counter if they can tweet their response in a timely fashion. In a similar scoring system to darts, players will start each bout with 501 health points and the first to lower their opponent’s health to exactly zero will be proclaimed the winner.
