Form alliances, capture and trade resources, research new technologies, and form huge invasion fleets to conquer your opponents
Battlefront.com and Atomic Software have released a new (beta) demo of Empires of Steel, a turn-based game of world conquest set in the 20th century and due to be available at the end of this November. Players command various ground, armored, naval and airforce units against up to 20 human or computer-controlled (Artificial Intelligence) opponents. Empires of Steel uses a simultaneous turn-resolution system, better known in gaming as "We-Go". If you pre-order your copy today, you will be able to download the full version of the game as one of the first on release day and you will receive a hardcopy in the mail a couple of weeks later as well. The special pre-order offer costs $45 plus S&H, a $10 savings over what it will cost after the release.
