Nintendo's BIG announcement Nintendo will reveal details of a "new game product" in spring next year, president Satoru Iwata has told a Japanese news conference while discussing the Kyoto-based firm's ongoing business strategy. Some people suspect the news mainly to be about a new console but it is possible that this is not the mythical N5 console at all, and in fact some other form of device. The fact that Iwata-san has spoken of a "successor to GameCube" in the past and reportedly did not do so on this occasion could be significant. Also Nintendo are due to bring out a new points scheme where you can save up for things buy buying Nintendo games and hardware. Check out more info here. Xbox Aware Xbox Live service is getting a few extra features near the end of this month according to the official Microsoft website. Included in the update is the ability to track friends and get invited to a game while in a single player game. More information on the update can be found on the official site. It is going to be released on most major consoles and PC by October, so check it out!!
