Power is being slowly but surely restored all across the East Coast, as yours truly was finally able to get online for the first time in the last 12 hours. Our thoughts are with those still without power or Internet - that must be somewhat maddening. Let's hope they get it all sorted out soon.

Sony to intro Ethernet powered camera soon
A camera powered over Ethernet will be released by Sony this October, the company said. "The camera uses the IEEE 802.3af standard which allows devices to be powered over Ethernet cable, a standard that was approved in June, the AsiaBizTech wire said." For more info check out The Inquirer.
Nvidia drivers reveal GeForce FX SE parts
Nvidia's Detonator 45.23 drivers reveal something the company might not have wanted us to know yet: the names of three new graphics chips it has yet to launch. Listed among all the supported products are the GeForce FX 5200 SE, 5600 SE and 5900 SE. Find out more at X-bit Labs.
Teen who Scammed AOL
The Federal Trade Commission settles charges against a 17-year-old boy who used spam to snooker AOL customers into giving him their credit-card numbers. After going on a shopping spree, he's agreed to repay the money and spam no more. More info at Wired Magazine.
