Strategy First has issued a new patch for World War II Frontline Command. This file contains a program to fix a conflict between the copy protection system used by World War II: Frontline Command and systems running Windows 2000. The issue only occurs with Windows 2000 systems which have been upgraded to Service Pack 4. Thanks: Blues. Gamer's Hell Local Download:

    SYMPTOMS
    When you run the game, Windows 2000 crashes to a blue screen and then reboot the machine.
    INSTALLATION
    This zip file contains the following program files which you can un-zip to a temporary directory (e.g. C:TEMP) sfup.exe sfclean.exe 1) New Installation of Game Once you have installed the game and run it for the first time you will be prompted to reboot your machine. At the prompt reply "No". Then run the supplied program "sfup.exe" and reboot your machine when prompted. 2) Existing Installation of Game If you have already installed and run World War II : Frontline Command please run the supplied program "sfup.exe", and then reboot your machine when prompted. You can then proceed to play the game.
    TROUBLESHOOTING
    In case the above procedure fails to resolve the issue you can run the other supplied program "sfclean.exe" to remove the protection drivers. Then repeat the above procedure.
