The History Channel Great Battles of Rome has been released via PlayStation Network, priced €9,99, Slitherine Software announced. The History Channel Great Battles of Rome allows players to take an active part in the creation of the Roman Empire - from the early struggles of a small village to the glorious campaign for the Empire. Players control massive armies (with an incredible array of soldiers, legionaries, archers, cavalry and war elephants) and will experience a mix of realistic gameplay and 3D special effects in a variety of environments, with video footage from The History Channel. Plus, thanks to the multiplayer features, players will have the opportunity to perfect their military strategies while battling against each other.
