After several beta patches, Slitherine Strategies has now released the final v1.14 patch for Chariots of War. This release "includes all the fixes in previous patches and has been thoroughly tested to ensure its as stable as possible. It has also been compiled into an easy to use installer for 5 languages (French, English, German, Italian & Spanish). The patch also includes all the maps from Map Pack 1."

NEW FEATURES in V1.14
* Messages *
It is now possible to switch from a 'building complete' message to the City Screen by clicking on the message. Close on the City Screen returns you to the message list.
* Battles *
It is now possible to 'fast forward' battles. You can toggle the fast forward on and off using the 'F' key. The speedup can be controlled by adding the following line to the user.txt file:
FASTFORWARD
speed must be in the range 1 to 16.
* Building Construction *
The main campaign screen now shows any building being constructed, and the time to completion under the city name. This can be disabled by adding the following line to the user.txt file:
SHOWCITYBUILDING 0

* Trade *
Bug fix: Trade prices were only being updated when the player entered the Trade Screen.
