PURGE JIHAD BETA 5 BUILD 1.8D For Purge retail owners, the Purge Jihad Expansion Pack Beta 5 Build 1.8D is ready. This should finally fix the Drone crash bugs. This is the first Open Beta of Jihad. The more players, the better the balance. Purge Jihad has an extensive number of new skills and weapons. This beta only tests that, thus it only 15MB. It also has gibs/limb-loss and 5 minute Portal protection. Other features for Purge Jihad such as the Deities, the Altar, and the new Prayer System are NOT in this beta. New maps are also NOT in this beta. The new weapons and skills such as the UA-12 Drone need extensive balancing and are the focus of this beta. Please post bugs or balance issues to the Purge forums ASAP. Purge Jihad will be released September 30th. [Instructions] 1. Make sure you have Purge 1.4.0 patched to Purge 1.4.7. Get the 1.4.7 patch if you don't have it already. 2. Simply decompress this PurgeJihadBeta.zip into your Purge directory. It decompresses a file called PURGEMOD.REZ. 3. This beta runs for 1 week. When it is over, simply delete the PURGEMOD.REZ file and Purge will revert back to 1.4.7. A server is up to test this beta. Remember to report back issues.
