New update introduces new player vs. player gameplay, content and gear
Funcom has announced the launch of Shrines of Bori, an all-new free update for Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures. This update adds entirely new PvP armor set to every class, attainable by playing the new PvP content. Situated around the village of Brandoc, shrines in honor of the war god Bori provides the setting where players will experience an ongoing conflict. Guilds will be able to wage war over shrines that can be captured and destroyed within the war-torn lands of the Border Kingdoms. The new reward system emphasizes conflict over cooperation, so get ready to test your alliances. The PvP experience points now also scale with players’ current PvP level. The update brings with it a whole new in-game event called The Silver Atrium. The event will introduce players to assassins from the Far East lands of Khitai, the setting for the upcoming expansion Rise of the Godslayer. There are also several tweaks to gameplay including a new in-game map and the ability to toggle quests on the go.
