Capcom has released a first patch for Robin Hood: Defender of the Crown, bringing this recent 3D action strategy remake by Cinemaware to v1.01. This release fixes the 'Could not get video mode' bug, and two other bugs (read full story for details). Gamer's Hell Local Download:

No matter what graphics settings I choose I can't get the game to run. A: Download the latest patch. Q: The game runs really slow. Is there something wrong? A: When the GRAPHICS CONFIG utility is run during installation, or from the Start menu, the game's detail settings are configured for optimal performance depending on your computer's hardware and graphics card. If you still find the game's performance sluggish, try changing the following options: Screen Mode: This determines the game's screen resolution on your monitor. If the resolution set automatically is greater than 640 * 480 * 16, try a lower setting. If it is still too slow, turn down the Graphics Quality slider from Max to Min. If it is still too slow, try changing anti-aliasing to "none". Q: I have another problem that isn't listed above.
