PS3 Firmware Update 3.40 Details

The next system software update (v3.40) for PS3 will be available soon, adding the PlayStation Plus subscription service package, enhancements to the connection between users’ PlayStation Network and Facebook accounts and other new features, Sony Computer Entertainment America (SCEA) announced. Additionally, system software update (v6.30) for the PSP system will launch simultaneously with PS3 system software update (v3.40), adding PlayStation Plus compatibility as well as other minor features.
