THQ has released the first trailers and screenshots from Viva Piñata: Pocket Paradise, a Nintendo DS game based on Microsoft Game Studios' original Viva Piñata game for Xbox 360. Scheduled to hit the store shelves this fall, Viva Piñata: Pocket Paradise features an array of content exclusive to Nintendo DS and an intuitive control scheme designed to take full advantage of the DS touch screen and stylus, making it a breeze to navigate through the garden. We also have seven new screenshots and a trailer from Saints Row 2, a third-person action game and sequel to Saints Row, currently under development for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. In the works at Volition, Saints Row 2 will offer vastly expanded customization options, a totally transformed and expanded city of Stilwater, all new vehicles, sandbox tools and toys as well as both online co-op and competitive multiplayer. Saints Row 2 will hit the store shelves on October 14th.

Destroy All Humans! Path of the Furon E3 2008 Trailer

We have a new trailer from Destroy All Humans! Path of the Furon, illustrating this game developed by THQ's newly formed internal development studio Sandblast Games and scheduled to be available for Xbox 360 and PS3 September 14. In Destroy All Humans! Path of the Furon, players will pick up where prequel Destroy All Humans! Big Willy Unleashed leaves off, controlling Crypto in the Funked Out 1970's when a mysterious new enemy attacks, launching a conspiracy that unravels Crypto's groovy new way of life and threatens the very survival of his Furon race. Destroy All Humans! Path of the Furon takes players on a journey of Enlightenment and Destruction to help Crypto gain new powers from an alien Kung Fu Master in order to take on his most difficult enemy yet.

UFC 2009 Undisputed E3 2008 Trailer and Screens

THQ has also released a trailer and two screenshots from UFC 2009 Undisputed, a game based on the renowned Ultimate Fighting Championship mixed martial arts organization and due to ship in spring 2009, for Xbox 360, PS3 and mobile devices. Players will explore a deep roster of more than 80 top fighters in UFC competition across all five weight classes. In addition, they will enter the Octagon surrounded by the sport’s popular commentators, announcers, referees, trainers, Octagon girls and more. Photorealistic models are at the forefront, as players will view amazing ripple effects across the faces and bodies of their fighters from the impact of devastating punches and kicks.

THQ released the first trailer and screenshots from WWE Legends of WrestleMania, a new game scheduled for release in March 2009 to coincide with the annual pinnacle of sports entertainment, WrestleMania 25, in Houston, Texas. Developed by JAKKS Pacific, for PS3 and Xbox 360, WWE Legends of Wrestlemania will join the WWE SmackDown/SmackDown vs. Raw franchise, which has shipped more than 37 million units worldwide since 2000.

Eight more screenshots and a new trailer from Red Faction: Guerrilla have been added in our download section, showcasing the third instalment of Volition's series, in development for PC, Xbox 360 and PS3. Scheduled to ship in THQ's fiscal year 2009, Red Faction: Guerrilla is a 3rd person, open-world action shooter set on Mars, 50 years after the events of the original Red Faction. Players will take the role of an insurgent fighter with the newly re-established Red Faction movement as they battle for liberation from the oppressive Earth Defense Force. Throughout their fight for freedom, players will carve their own path, wreaking havoc across the vast, open-world environment of Mars, from the desolate mining outpost of Parker to the gleaming EDF capital city of Eos.

BAJA New Trailers and E3 2008 Screens

THQ has released two new trailers and a set of screenshots from BAJA: Edge of Control, showcasing this off-road racing game developed by 2XL Games, the founding members of the MX vs. ATV franchise, for PS3 and Xbox 360. In BAJA, players will conquer more than 100 square miles of the toughest terrain Mother Nature has to offer, including the steepest mountains, thickest mud and deepest canyons ever created. With more than 40 vehicles in eight classes, including Trophy Trucks, 4x4s and buggies, BAJA features a full array of upgradeable options with hundreds of authentic parts that affect each vehicle's performance. Players will put their off-road machines to the test in near-vertical Hill Climb challenges, head-to-head Open Class races, circuit races and the ultimate off-road endurance challenge: the Baja. BAJA is due to be available on September 12, 2008.

Age of Empires: Mythologies will allow players to strategize as legendary heroes, commanding massive armies and shaping the destinies of three unique cultures in both single and multi-player campaigns.

Warner Bros. also released the first nine screenshots from Guinness World Records: The Videogame, a party game in which you will compete in 40 different challenges based on real life world records in your quest to become the record breaker. Then post your scores online and see how you rate against other competitors around the world. The game’s quick-fire action challenges can be played solo, in teams, or in competitive multi-player groups. Players are able to compete for the ultimate prize – the chance to be listed in the official Guinness World Records book. Guinness World Records: The Videogame will be available for Wii and DS.
