Majesco Entertainment has announced Drama Queen, a Nintendo DS game developed by Sensory Sweep and scheduled for Spring 2009. In Drama Queens, players assume the role of one of four girls, each with her own personality and special attributes. Square Enix has announced that Dragon Quest V: The Hand of the Heavenly Bride, the second instalment in the Zenithia Trilogy, will hit the store shelves across Europe on February 20th, 2009. Dragon Quest V: The Hand of the Heavenly Bride is exclusively developed for the Nintendo DS as a remake of the classic Dragon Quest V. Sony Computer Entertainment America today announced the signing of Red Sox Second Baseman and 2008 American League MVP Dustin Pedroia as cover athlete for MLB 09 The Show. Pedroia's duties include participation in the game's motion capture process, A.I. consultation, integration into all facets of the marketing campaign, and spokesperson for the franchise. MLB 09 The Show will be released for PS3, PSP, and PS2 this Spring.

CCP announced today EVE Online: Apocrypha, the tenth free expansion for EVE Online, its popular science fiction massively multi-player online game (MMOG). EVE Online: Apocrypha features new regions, Tech 3 modular ships, Epic Mission Arcs, an entirely reworked New Player Experience for those joining (or rejoining) the game, and more (check full article for details). Frogster Interactive today released a new trailer for Bounty Bay Online, this time showcasing the Colony add-on scheduled for January 15th. Starting with this update, all guilds will be able to establish their own colony and to build their own city with a harbor, where it will be possible to import, stock, produce and trade various goods. Colony owners can decide for themselves between three different outer appearances and between four different development paths (Industrial, Business, Collectors and Military).
