Achtung Spitfire is the sequel to Over the Reich but it covers the period before from 1939 to 1943. The games share the same interface and flight engine of Over The Reich, so anyone that has played Over the Reich is familiarized with this game. The game includes the R.A.F., the Luftwaffe, and the French Armee de l'Air and having different campaigns for each air force. The game itself for who hasn't played any of the games referred before , consists on you commanding a series of pilots which you can manage to achieve the mission goal. You have at your disposal different planes at diferent times with new versions as time went by and there was technical evolution. After you have chosen the right pilots it's time to intercept, attack enemies or defend your own allies. The game is turn based but you can almost feel the speed of your planes, you have limited autonomy each time you play according to your plane's speed and torque. A turn based Strategy/ Simulation game which covers aviation history from 1939 to 1945.
