In an ever-expanding world of sim games, Capitalism 2 builds on the solid reputation of its predecessor as one of the best business sims on the market. Your objective is simple--get filthy rich and run a huge business empire. The question really is: do you have the commercial and business sense to make it happen? Capitalism 2 introduces two new campaigns. The Entrepreneur Campaign contains the tutorials to get you familiar with the business ideals and skills before you attempt the Capitalist Campaign, in which you are presented with a scenario, for example, to resolve to restore and secure market dominance in a small technology company. The range of business choices is vast with plenty of opportunity for (business) world domination. The interface and menus are fairly easy to navigate, introducing more advanced options as your business grows and should present no challenges to seasoned gamers--the manual also gives a detailed guide to the games' major functions. Visually it is a little limited but this does not inhibit the gameplay or detract from what is principally a strategy game. On the plus side, the game is not too power hungry, so will happily run on your ageing computer.
