Battlefront.com has released a new set of screens from Theatre of War 2: Afrika 1943, a game which covers the events of 1943 during the operations in Tunisia. Players will have the option to lead the German Afrika Korps of Rommel in their last full-scale attack or be at the head of the opposing English and American armies, led by Montgomery and Eisenhower, during 15 missions in three campaigns. The sequel to Theatre of War features more than 40 types of different vehicles, new types of units, improved graphics and sound, a new advanced visual system that considers observation angle and smoke screens, fights inside buildings and hand-to-hand fighting, a brand new interface, improved soldiers' AI, soldiers' independent search for cover and an improved infantry damage system. Special attention is being devoted to multiplayer and user created missions.

Both versions of Mushroom Men, Rise of the Fungi for Nintendo DS and The Spore Wars for Wii, have shipped to retail, Gamecock Media Group announced. Developed by Red Fly Studio, Mushroom Men shows gamers the mundane world from the surreal perspective of a three-inch-high Mushroom Man. Unnoticed by humans, a war rages between the spore factions. As a brave Bolete Mushroom Man, players are given the opportunity to wreak havoc by transforming common household trinkets and trash into weapons and tools. A new trailer and more screenshots have been added in our download area.

We have a new gameplay movie from 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand, showcasing the 50 Cent: Bulletproof sequel due to ship in early 2009, for Xbox 360 and PS3. In 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand, players will be able to play as one of the world's biggest hip-hop stars in an all-out battle to protect 50 Cent's assets and to collect payment from a crooked overlord. The game will feature multiplayer drop-in and drop-out co-op, interactive counter-kills, driving, and aerial combat. 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand is being developed by Swordfish Studios and will be published by THQ.

505 Games has announced Hotel for Dogs, a video game based on the upcoming feature film, "Hotel For Dogs", from DreamWorks Pictures and Nickelodeon Movies. In the Hotel for Dogs video game, players enter the old hotel to help two siblings, Andi and Bruce, feed and entertain an adorable collection of canines by building amazing gadgets, playing with the pooches and keeping the dogs happy in their new hotel home. Navigating through 10 levels of gameplay, players must accomplish various goals to keep their beloved canines healthy and amused. Players will even explore the areas outside of the hotel as they attempt to locate and rescue additional pups in need of some major TLC. Hotel for Dogs will hit the store shelves across North America on January 6th 2009, for PC, DS and Wii.
