Combat Mission: Shock Force v1.11 Demo and Patch

Battlefront.com has released an updated demo for Combat Mission: Shock Force, allowing you to try out their strategy game that depicts a hypothetical near future conflict between NATO and Syrian forces in Syria. This demo includes three scenarios which can be played as either US or Syrian. It also offers a fourth scenario, "Demo Training", which was designed to only be played from the US perspective. All multiplayer modes are active (TCP-IP, PBEM, Hotseat) and you can access the full Game Editor, but the save function is disabled.
Update: the Paradox and GamersGate versions of the latest patch for the game are now available.

Microsoft has announced that Knothole Island, the Fable 2 DLC (Downloadable Content) in the works at Lionhead Studios, will be available via LIVE on January 13. Fable 2: Knothole Island features 3 unique quests set in 3 unique dungeons, as well as a whole new range of outfits and look like an armoured knight, an assassin, a barbarian or a leather-clad biker, among many others. Fable 2: Knothole also offers 6 new weapons, dozens of unique potions that will drastically alter your appearance, a new augment tool and a whole new array of augments. Legend of Golden Plume Name Change and Open Beta Soon

Ingle Games today announced that Legend of Golden Plume, a cartoon-style real time strategy MMORPG where you will find a wonderland filled with cute friends, NPC and monsters, is now known as Destiny Online. The open beta test will begin on January 13th. During the open beta, max level will be increased from 100 to 120, a set of 40 brand new fashionable costumes will be added in the game, and a brand new server "Penguin" will be opened. Hotel for Dogs Trailer

505 Games has released a new trailer for Hotel for Dogs, a video game based on the upcoming feature film, "Hotel For Dogs", from DreamWorks Pictures and Nickelodeon Movies. In the Hotel for Dogs video game, players enter the old hotel to help two siblings, Andi and Bruce, feed and entertain an adorable collection of canines by building amazing gadgets, playing with the pooches and keeping the dogs happy in their new hotel home. Navigating through 10 levels of gameplay, players must accomplish various goals to keep their beloved canines healthy and amused. Players will even explore the areas outside of the hotel as they attempt to locate and rescue additional pups in need of some major TLC. Hotel for Dogs will hit the store shelves next week, for PC, DS and Wii.

Activision announced that the Country Rock Track Pack for Guitar Hero World Tour is now released for Xbox 360 (worldwide) and PS3 (Europe), and will soon be available for PlayStation 3 (North America) and Wii. The Country Rock Track Pack features Rascal Flatts "Me and My Gang", plus GRAMMY Award-winning artists Brad Paisley's "Ticks" and Brooks & Dunn's "Hillbilly Deluxe". The Country Rock Track Pack is available for 440 Microsoft Points (via Xbox LIVE Marketplace) and for $5.49 (via PlayStation Store).
