The official website of AMC has been revamped, offering samples of their most recent work, information about the projects they are involved. AMC Studio recently made several characters for Terminator Salvation - The Videogame, a third-person action game in the works at GRIN Studios.
gamigo AG has announced the start of the closed beta test for the French and Spanish versions of Last Chaos, a free to play MMORPG where thousands of players can simultaneously be connected, fight and upgrade their courage and battle skills through adventures, quests and crafting skills with fellow adventurers. Last Chaos features a private quest mode named "Personal Dungeon" where players can go solo in an "arcade" style gaming environment. LucasArts has announced that a new single-player level for Star Wars: The Force Unleashed is now available via Xbox LIVE Marketplace and PlayStation Network. The level features "The Secret Apprentice", an entirely new mission set in the Jedi Temple on the planet Coruscant. The Secret Apprentice travels to the Jedi Temple to learn more about his father, and while searching through the rubble of the destroyed building he must confront his inner demons. Bundled with the single-player level are nine new costumes, which allow gamers to play through the game disguised as several new characters. Check full article for details.

Sproing Interactive Media GmbH has announced that Panzer Tactics DS, a WWII turn-based strategy game for the Nintendo DS, won the 2008 Console Game of The Year Award at German Game Developer Awards. Voted on by a panel of publishers, developers service providers and the media, the German Game Developer Awards recognize games released in the past year that represent special merit in gameplay, design, innovation, interface, and quality.

We have more screenshots from Men of War, illustrating this upcoming game co-developed by Digitalmindsoft and Best Way and due to be published by 505 Games across Europe. Previously known as Outfront II, Men of War takes place during the height of World War II. The story unfolds across three different campaigns played out through the eyes of Soviet, Allied and German soldiers. Each campaign has its own structured timeline, bringing a different part of the war to life, telling a different story of World War II spanning across Russia, North Africa, Ukraine, Greece, Germany, Italy and the Pacific. Men of War will feature 50 new units to play with, including new designs on tanks, APCs and heavy guns. The single player campaign will also feature a fully customisable user interface, so players are able to setup their command layout just as they please. Battlefront.com has released a new set of screens from Theatre of War 2: Afrika 1943, a game which covers the events of 1943 during the operations in Tunisia. Players will have the option to lead the German Afrika Korps of Rommel in their last full-scale attack or be at the head of the opposing English and American armies, led by Montgomery and Eisenhower, during 15 missions in three campaigns. The sequel to Theatre of War features more than 40 types of different vehicles, new types of units, improved graphics and sound, a new advanced visual system that considers observation angle and smoke screens, fights inside buildings and hand-to-hand fighting, a brand new interface, improved soldiers' AI, soldiers' independent search for cover and an improved infantry damage system. Special attention is being devoted to multiplayer and user created missions.

We have a new gameplay movie from 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand, showcasing the 50 Cent: Bulletproof sequel due to ship in early 2009, for Xbox 360 and PS3. In 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand, players will be able to play as one of the world's biggest hip-hop stars in an all-out battle to protect 50 Cent's assets and to collect payment from a crooked overlord. The game will feature multiplayer drop-in and drop-out co-op, interactive counter-kills, driving, and aerial combat. 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand is being developed by Swordfish Studios and will be published by THQ.
