Disgaea 3: Absence of Justice EU Release Date Confirmed and Screens

Square Enix has announced that Disgaea 3, a PS3 game developed by Nippon Ichi Software, will be released in PAL territories on February 20th. In Disgaea, character units have a limit to their movement and attack ranges, based on level and weapons equipped. There are other special game factors that let you take advantage of the 3D battle map, many of which are unique to Disgaea. One of the many new feature to Disgaea 3 is the addition of a Geo Block, which creates a 3 dimensional battle instead of the traditional 2D. Electronic Arts today announced the upcoming March release of Football Academy for the Nintendo DS. Football Academy is a collection of mini-games which challenges players' football knowledge in a fun and entertaining way. We have a new trailer from Cuboid, a 3D puzzle game where players navigate ancient ruins and lush environments, maneuvering the cuboid through mystical exits. In Cuboid, you have to solve 66 challenging puzzles from beginner to expert. You can use the increasingly complex tile interactions, switches and teleports to complete each level and earn antique treasures. Cuboid will be available in Q1 2009.

We have a couple of new trailers for F.E.A.R. 2 Project Origin, showcasing this videogame sequel to the hit game F.E.A.R., developed by Monolith Productions. F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin tells the story of an escalating paranormal crisis that threatens to destroy a major American city. At the center of the calamity is the mysterious Alma, whose rage against those who wronged her triggered a chain of events that have spiraled completely out of control. Now that she has free reign, the consequences will be unimaginable. F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin will be available on February 10, 2009 in North America and February 13, 2009 in Europe.

SimAnimals Website Launched and Screens #4

The official website of SimAnimals is now live, offering new info about this game developed exclusively for Wii and DS, and scheduled to be available worldwide in January 2009. For the first time players can engage with the wild world of animals in their natural surroundings in an immersive and tactile way. In SimAnimals, you are challenged to engage, touch, move and try to control a wide range of animals as you journey deeper and deeper into the forest. You control an on-screen animated hand that allows you to reach out and touch, pick up and move everything in the game from foxes and bears to trees and flowers. Cohabitate with these animals in their natural surroundings, and based on how you treat them, the animals will come to know and love - or dislike you. New screenshots from both Wii and screenshots versions of the game found their way in our gallery.

Konami has announced that Sandy Beach has been released via for WiiWare, for 500 Wii Points. Sandy Beach is a fully 3D sandcastle building game that utilizes the Wii remote to form and detail elaborate sand castles, images of which can then be captured and saved to your photo gallery. Players will be able enjoy co-op play as they design their sandcastle on the tranquil shores of the beach.
