Indie game developers Games Faction today announced the release of Project Aftermath, an arcade RTS game where you command up to four squads of soldiers in battles in a retro-futuristic world. You will equip your squads to suit your playing style, researching new items using the spoils of war; choosing from over 100 different weapons, armour, power-up augmentations and spell-like special attacks. Project Aftermath can be purchased from its official website - a playable demo is now locally mirrored.

WWII Battle Tanks: T-34 vs. Tiger Gone Gold/Screens #6

Lighthouse Interactive also announced that WWII Battle Tanks: T-34 vs Tiger, a tank simulation set during the World War II, has been approved for manufacturing and will hit retail shelves across Europe and digital download sites, including: GamersGate.com and TotalGaming.net beginning October 24, 2008. WWII Battle Tanks: T-34 vs. Tiger tells the story of the great triumph of the Soviet Army during the summer campaign of 1944. The game will feature realistic locations, modeled after the Belorussian landscape of the early 20th century, recreated from hundreds of reference photos and maps. Additionally, the game will offer a realistic combat environment, including infantry, cars, armored personnel-carriers, artillery, aircraft. Six new screenshots found their in our gallery.

Flyff - Fly For Fun v12 Released

Flyff - Fly For Fun is a free MMORPG which focuses on characters flying around using a hoverboard or broom as a way of transportation to other islands and towns in the game. There is an enormous amount of content to explore and level up in as well as engaging in battles in PvP (Player vs. Player) mode with up to 120 levels of play. This new version features the new Lord System which allows eligible players to unite and vote for a Lord of their server for 2 weeks. An elected Lord will be given exclusive skills and equipment, including the ability to start EXP or item drop events on his/her server. In addition, there is a new dungeon for players to explore called the Forsaken Tower. The tower hosts 5 floors, each of which has unique monsters inspired from different mythologies from all around the world. Players can also join forces to fight the new NPC boss, Rangda, the soul of a cursed witch that lies deep within the forest of Darkon.

Amoeba announced that on October 26th, Guitar Hero World Tour will be released and one of the stages is that of Amoeba's. Amoeba will have Guitar Hero World Tour available to pre-order through their website for in-store pick up only. Amoeba will be giving out free Amoeba Music t-shirts when one comes to pick it up (style and size can be chosen the day of pick-up). This is a regional promotion and it is best for gamer/rockers in the LA or San Francisco Bay Area where Amoeba stores are located.
