Gamecock Media Group today announced a new partnership with GameTap which includes the rights for the publisher's titles to be available for digital download in GameTap’s online store, as well as for subscription and ad-supported play. As part of the new agreement, future titles, such as Legendary and Velvet Assassin will also be available on GameTap. All games will be added GameTap's online digital retail storefront at launch and later added to the subscription service and ad-supported website.

G4Box has released the first set of wallpapers and screenshots from Cross Fire, a military online shooter game which boasts sophisticated graphics and a unique system which allows the game to run smoothly even on low-end PCs. Oxygen Games has unveiled a list of the features for the Xbox 360 version of PDC World Championship Darts which offers for the first time, online multiplayer; a chance to play against another player in an Exhibition match (check full story for details). East India Company, the strategy war-game in the works at Finnish company Encore Games and previously scheduled for Q4 2008, will hit the store shelved in Q1 2009, Lighthouse Interactive announced. East India Company is set in the 18th century and you play the part of a young captain of british East India Company who travels throughout the world searching for the the pirate who murdered his father and brother. Rise of the Argonauts Meaningful Choices Trailer #1

Codemasters has released a new trailer for Rise of the Argonauts, an action RPG for major consoles and PC, in development at Liquid Entertainment and due to ship this autumn, for PC, Xbox 360 and PS3. Rise of the Argonauts is set in ancient Greece with players leading a team of warriors - including Jason, Hercules and Atalanta - through a world ruled by mythological gods. Each of the gods - Ares, Apollo, Hermes and Athena - has his or her own skill tree that gives the player a flexible and dynamic system for acquiring skills and improving their character. Players will also be able to align themselves with a god by choosing the dialogue that best fits the god's unique disposition.

Candella Systems Ltd, Eipix Entertainment and Noviy Disk have announced a publishing agreement for Pyroblazer for the CIS countries. Pyroblazer is a futuristic combat racing game which will be available for the PC, Wii and PSP later this year. Set amidst the awe-inspiring locations of New Apeiron, players get the opportunity to race through a multitude of environments using a wide selection of anti-gravity craft known as Blazers. In their quest for glory, players can blast their way through the scorched valleys of Gnosis, the deserted cities of Haedra or the densely populated Underdome of Evelads. As the players fight their way through the championship, improved Blazers with better speed, handling and superior firepower become available. Players also have the ability to pick up weapon and ammo upgrades during the race, further enhancing their ability to land the killer blow. Pyroblazer for PC will be available in October 2008.
