We have two gameplay movies from Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved 2 for the Xbox 360, a game scheduled for August 6th. Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved 2 features six gameplay modes, as well as co-op and versus multiplayer modes, new soundtrach and 1080p graphics. 
Gamecock Media Group today announced a new partnership with GameTap which includes the rights for the publisher's titles to be available for digital download in GameTap’s online store, as well as for subscription and ad-supported play. As part of the new agreement, future titles, such as Legendary and Velvet Assassin will also be available on GameTap. All games will be added GameTap's online digital retail storefront at launch and later added to the subscription service and ad-supported website.
G4Box has released the first set of wallpapers and screenshots from Cross Fire, a military online shooter game which boasts sophisticated graphics and a unique system which allows the game to run smoothly even on low-end PCs. Developed by Smilegate, Cross Fire will be available in North America and the United Kingdom, in the fall of 2008 - press 'read more' for a list of features included in the game.
East India Company, the strategy war-game in the works at Finnish company Encore Games and previously scheduled for Q4 2008, will hit the store shelved in Q1 2009, Lighthouse Interactive announced. East India Company is set in the 18th century and you play the part of a young captain of british East India Company who travels throughout the world searching for the the pirate who murdered his father and brother. Codemasters has released a new trailer for Rise of the Argonauts, an action RPG for major consoles and PC, in development at Liquid Entertainment and due to ship this autumn, for PC, Xbox 360 and PS3. Rise of the Argonauts is set in ancient Greece with players leading a team of warriors - including Jason, Hercules and Atalanta - through a world ruled by mythological gods. Each of the gods - Ares, Apollo, Hermes and Athena - has his or her own skill tree that gives the player a flexible and dynamic system for acquiring skills and improving their character. Players will also be able to align themselves with a god by choosing the dialogue that best fits the god's unique disposition.
GamersGate today announced that it will host the worldwide digital download premiere of World War 2: Road to Victory, a strategy title published by IQ Software. The game is due to be released tomorrow, July 25 and is available for pre-order by visiting this page.
