We have a new batch of screenshots from Neopets Puzzle Adventure (working title), a new multi-platform puzzle adventure game for the Wii, DS and PC. Developed by Capcom and Infinite Interactive, developers of Puzzle Quest, Neopets Puzzle Adventure takes puzzle solving skills to new levels with a unique Neopets spin. Based on the classic board game, 'Reversi', Neopets Puzzle Adventure includes 150 different quests across vast Neopian lands, a variety of the most popular customizable Neopets to choose from, and several fun mini-games to add depth and fun to the gameplay. As a bonus to Neopets fans, players will be able to earn codes throughout the game that connect back to the Neopets site by achieving certain goals throughout the DS, Wii or PC game. These unique codes will allow players to unlock exclusive items back in their virtual world on neopets.com. Neopets Puzzle Adventure will be available this holiday season.

2K Sports announced the upcoming winter release of MLB Front Office Manager for the Xbox 360, PLAYSTATION 3 and PC. The game allows you to play the part of a real-life baseball GM who can develop a team from Spring Training through a full MLB season, into the playoffs and the World Series. MLB Front Office Manager also offers two game modes. Become the GM in Career Mode and manage a team through a 30 year career, as well as play in the Online Fantasy Mode where you can create an online head-to-head management experience. Valkyria Chronicles Demo Available via PSN

SEGA announced that a demo for Valkyria Chronicles is now available from the UK PSN, with the US version being distributed as a special download for Qore subscribers. SEGA also confirmed that the release date has recently moved up by 2 weeks. Valkyria Chronicles will now launch in PAL territories on October 31st.

Nobilis announced the November 2008 release of Hotel Giant DS, a game where you will play an ambitious hotel director, who dreams of turning a simple motel into a luxurious hotel. The game features 11 different types of hotels, from the little motel to the luxurious palace in the middle of the ocean or in the heart of the Amazonian rainforest, as well as a thousand items and furniture pieces to design your hotel as you wish. Hot ‘n' Cold Announced

Majesco Entertainment announced Hot ‘n' Cold for the Nintendo DS, the first fully 3D hidden object game. The stylus lets players lift and throw objects out of the way in 50 multi-room levels in both indoor and outdoor 3D environments. Real world physics make the search for hidden items more dynamic and fun. Three different online multiplayer modes-Hide ‘n Seek, Find the Most and Race-let gamers create their own levels by hiding objects within rooms and then sending those levels to a friend who must discover the hidden objects. Hot ‘n' Cold will be released in early 2009.

Unsolved Crimes Trailer #2

Empire Interactive has released a new trailer from Unsolved Crimes for the Nintendo DS, a game developed by Now Production and due to ship on October 31st, 2008, across Europe. In Unsolved Crimes you play the role of a young rookie detective in the Homicide division who, together with your partner, must solve the mysterious kidnapping of aspiring model Betsy Blake. Set in a stylized 1970s New York, it is up to you to find Betsy before its too late.

Star Ocean: The Last Hope US/UK/EU Release Confirmed

Square Enix announced the 2009 release across all PAL territories of Star Ocean: The Last Hope for the Xbox 360. This version will be fully localised for PAL territories with French, German, Spanish and Italian subtitles and menu screens. Star Ocean: The Last Hope combines sci-fi and fantasy elements, spanning multiple planets and the vastness of space itself to recount the origins of the STAR OCEAN universe. Update - the NA release date is set for March 3rd.

Twelve Gets Tarzan!

Twelve Interactive today announced they acquired the license to develop a game based on Tarzan from Edgar Rice Burroughs Inc, the company which holds all rights to the franchise. Tarzan The Video Game will be developed for the on Wii, PLAYSTATION 3, Xbox 360 and PC with the help of the Gamebryo game engine, from Emergent Game Technologies. A release date is still to be announced.

Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon EU Release Date Announced

Nintendo today announced that Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon will be released across Europe on December 5th. The game is based on Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon and the Blade of Light, which was created in 1990 for the NES console but never released in Europe. A wide range of characters, with unique powers and integrated storylines, adds depth to the game, which features a range of new side stories and several difficulty levels to suit everybody. Using the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection, players can battle over the internet or against one another in the same room, access a special armoury shop or lend/borrow troops to/from friends.

Slitherine Software 2009 Line-Up Announced

Slitherine today announced their line-up for the rest of 2008 and 2009. Under the History brand, they will release HISTORY: Great Empires Pharaohs on handheld devices this autumn and HISTORY: Great Battles of the Middle Ages on next generation platforms during spring 2009. Under the Military History brand, the company plans two titles in the Commander series for handhelds: MILITARY HISTORY: Commander Europe at War in February and MILITARY HISTORY: Napoleon Europe at War later in 2009.
