Activision has released a playable demo of Quantum of Solace, allowing you to try out this game based on the upcoming James Bond movie with the same title. The game features the likeness and voices of Daniel Craig as James Bond, Academy Award winning actor Judi Dench in her role as M, critically acclaimed French actor Mathieu Amalric as the sinister villain Dominic Greene and Ukrainian actress Olga Kurylenko as Camille, 007's leading lady. Quantum of Solace is powered by the Call of Duty 4 engine and will hit the store shelves across North America on November 4th.

Atari and NAMCO BANDAI Games Europe today confirmed the Feruary 2009 UK/EU release for the PS3 version of Eternal Sonata. This version features new quests, new playable characters, new music and new costumes. The game's roster of playable characters expands with the addition of Serenade and Crescendo, and players can now customize the look of members of their party with a variety of new outfits. Players can also enjoy several all-new dungeons, and even experience different endings.

Electronic Arts today announced that Dead Space has been scored by Jason Graves, in association with Rod Abernethy and under the direction of EA Redwood Shores studio. The score features over three hours of music recorded during two different recording sessions. In the first session Graves conducted sixty musicians of the Northwest Sinfonia Orchestra at the Bastyr Chapel in Seattle, and a year later Graves conducted sixty players of the Skywalker Symphony Orchestra and twenty voice choir at the Skywalker Sound Scoring Stage. The official soundtrack will be available for purchase via EATRAX on October 14th.

Tilted Mill Entertainment today announced Mosby's Confederacy, a Civil War-based strategy game where you command small bands of skirmishers, scouts and guerilla fighters on opportunistic missions to scout, ambush, steal supplies and harass a larger and better armed force of Union soldiers. Missions and their objectives are highly randomized, so you'll need to approach each game differently, carefully planning your strategy for success. Throughout the campaign your progress is tracked, with a full report of your accomplishments provided at its completion. Mosby’s Confederacy will be available later this year.

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and TT Games today announced that LEGO Batman: The Videogame will be in the UK stores on October 10th, 2008, for PC, PSP, PS2, PS3, Xbox 360, Wii and DS. In LEGO Batman: The Videogame, players can explore a richly interactive LEGO Gotham City as Batman and Robin, capturing infamous villains and even take control of the villains themselves.
