Crysis Wars Free Trial Client

Electronic Arts and Crytek have announced that Crysis Wars, the new multiplayer suite for Crytek's Crysis franchise and part of the Crysis Warhead package, will be available for free from Friday, October 10th through Sunday, October 12th. Crysis Wars includes three diverse multiplayer modes (InstantAction, TeamInstantAction and PowerStruggle), 21 maps ranging from large battlefields to smaller, more intimate battlegrounds with a diverse array of settings ranging from beaches to graveyards, as well as all weapons and vehicles released within the Crysis Universe. Starting on Monday, October 6th, gamers can take advantage of this offer by registering online at MyCrysis. After registration, those who sign up will be emailed a unique activation key that will allow them to immediately play Crysis Wars on LAN for the entire week and will allow them to play on Gamespy servers from October 10th at 11:00 AM PT to October 12th at 11:59 PM. Priston Tale Server Move Announced

Wicked Interactive today announced that the server for Priston Tale has officially moved and is now being hosted at SubaGames. The new website is now available here. The server move applies only to the English version of the game and players who already have a Priston Tale account will automatically be added to SubaGames. Japanese players are unaffected by the move.

Quantum of Solace: The Game Demo

Activision has released a playable demo of Quantum of Solace, allowing you to try out this game based on the upcoming James Bond movie with the same title. The game features the likeness and voices of Daniel Craig as James Bond, Academy Award winning actor Judi Dench in her role as M, critically acclaimed French actor Mathieu Amalric as the sinister villain Dominic Greene and Ukrainian actress Olga Kurylenko as Camille, 007's leading lady. Quantum of Solace is powered by the Call of Duty 4 engine and will hit the store shelves across North America on November 4th.

Atari and NAMCO BANDAI Games Europe today confirmed the Feruary 2009 UK/EU release for the PS3 version of Eternal Sonata. This version features new quests, new playable characters, new music and new costumes. The game's roster of playable characters expands with the addition of Serenade and Crescendo, and players can now customize the look of members of their party with a variety of new outfits. Players can also enjoy several all-new dungeons, and even experience different endings.

Dead Space Soundtrack Details Released

Electronic Arts today announced that Dead Space has been scored by Jason Graves, in association with Rod Abernethy and under the direction of EA Redwood Shores studio. The score features over three hours of music recorded during two different recording sessions. In the first session Graves conducted sixty musicians of the Northwest Sinfonia Orchestra at the Bastyr Chapel in Seattle, and a year later Graves conducted sixty players of the Skywalker Symphony Orchestra and twenty voice choir at the Skywalker Sound Scoring Stage. The official soundtrack will be available for purchase via EATRAX on October 14th.
