Disney Interactive Studios has released a new trailer for Pure, showcasing this game developed by Black Rock Studio for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC. Pure features fast-paced quad racing with massive jumps and airborne tricks in photo-realistic settings all over the globe. Players start by choosing among a variety of male and female character riders. They can then either race against deft A.I. opponents or online players (up to 16-player multiplayer) in frenetic races and freestyle competitions all over the world.

Electronic Arts has announced that Dead Space, a third-person sci-fi survival horror game developed by EA Redwood Shores, is now hitting stores on October 14th. Dead Space follows Isaac Clarke, an ordinary man on a routine mission to fix the communications systems aboard a deep space mining ship. Isaac soon realizes that the ship's crew has been ravaged by an alien infestation, so he must fight through the dead silence and darkness of deep space to stay alive. In the game, children can take part in immediately accessible activities, 'grow their own fun' by planting seeds that grow into things to play with or simply explore all the places this world has to offer. Candella Systems and Eipix Entertainment have released more screenshots from Pyroblazer, a futuristic combat racing game which will be available for the PC, Wii and PSP later this year. Set amidst the awe-inspiring locations of New Apeiron, players get the opportunity to race through a multitude of environments using a wide selection of anti-gravity craft known as Blazers. In their quest for glory, players can blast their way through the scorched valleys of Gnosis, the deserted cities of Haedra or the densely populated Underdome of Evelads. As the players fight their way through the championship, improved Blazers with better speed, handling and superior firepower become available. Players also have the ability to pick up weapon and ammo upgrades during the race, further enhancing their ability to land the killer blow.
