The PC version of Grand Theft Auto IV, the latest installment in the popular series from Rockstar, is now available for pre-purchase via Steam, Valve announced. Those who pre-purchase the game via Steam will immediately receive the full version of Grand Theft Auto: Vice City for the PC at no extra charge.

Torquemada Games has released a playable demo of Video Strip Poker Boys, a new poker game which contains a set of 5 adversaries who differ in many ways: their good looks, character and the way of behaving during the game. The game contains interactive video: opponents comment on the game, they speak with british or american accent, one of them even sounds gay. The video window is really big, you can play on fullscreenalso, and the video quality is significantly better than DVD. In the demo version you can play against Robert, one of five opponents. Video Strip Poker Boys will be available later this year.

Gamecock Media Group has released a new trailer from Mushroom Men, showcasing this game developed by Red Fly Studio and due to ship later this year, for Wii and DS. Mushroom Men shows gamers the mundane world from the surreal perspective of a three-inch-high Mushroom Man. Unnoticed by humans, a war rages between the spore factions. As a brave Bolete Mushroom Man, players are given the opportunity to wreak havoc by transforming common household trinkets and trash into weapons and tools.

Muzzy Lane Software has announced that the official MAKING HISTORY website has just passed the 30,000 mark for downloads of player-made scenarios and other content. MAKING HISTORY is a series of counterfactual turn-based strategy games in which players apply their strategic skills to lead their chosen nation through real-world periods of conflict. The goal is not to replay history exactly as it happened, but rather to operate in an unpredictable, player-driven world.

THQ has released a new trailer for Deadly Creatures, an action thriller title developed internally by THQ's Rainbow Studios and due to ship in December 2008, exclusively for Wii. Deadly Creatures throws players into a venomous world of desert terror, where the greatest victory is survival. Independent UK developer Tuna Technologies has announced Cletus Clay, a manic side-scrolling platform brawler scheduled for 2009, for PC and Xbox 360. Playing as the eponymous Cletus, a bad-tempered, wise-cracking, gun-totin' hick, you take on a bunch of uninvited alien visitors who have had the temerity to trespass through your farmland on their way to conquering the Earth. The Xbox LIVE Arcade version will be released under Tuna's new label TunaSnax and the PC version will be distributed by Pinnacle Software.
