Capturing DiRT Showdown's raucous racing and turbo-charged party atmosphere, the ‘Race Hard, Party Hard’ video showcases just some of the events on the Showdown Tour, revealing how each location becomes a chaotic festival of speed on track and a hedonistic party for thousands of fans off it.
In the demo, the single player '8 Bal' race, players take part in a chaotic, full-impact race in the shadow of San Francisco's Golden Gate Bridge, using boost to sprint ahead of rivals and speeding through crossover points where drivers can dodge or takedown opponents. Once players have completed the race, they can challenge a friend online to unlock the 'Rampage' multiplayer mode. In 'Rampage', eight drivers feed their appetite for destruction in an online demolition derby event, earning points for crashes, smashes and eliminations.

The ‘Massive Damage’ video features work-in-progress gameplay footage and reveals the destruction-focussed game modes to feature in DiRT Showdown. In demolition derby event Rampage, eightracers take no prisoners, earning points for spectacular smashes on their rivals’ vehicles and eliminating other drivers in gladiatorial automotive auditoriums. DiRT Showdown’s Knock Out mode is also revealed, featuring drivers using their cars as weapons to force opponents off a raised platform in a chaotic battle for domination. Eliminated vehicles can re-enter the fray by racing up ramps and jumping back onto the platform, where points are earned for knock-outs, hits and owning the ring alone.
The Crash and Burn video features work-in-progress gameplay footage, showcasing the full-impact, destruction-focussed racing featured in DiRT Showdown’s 8 Ball event. The stage is a dirty, dusty circuit in the sun-baked Nevada desert where eight racers perform in front of the crowd, taking on jumps and dangerous crossover points as they jostle for position against a backdrop of fireworks and fire cannons. Boost is used to speed through gaps and smash rivals as the drivers – racing vehicles tuned for chaotic, aggressive racing – trade paint and crash out as they battle to become the star of the Showdown.
